Adopted by Participants of Public Hearings on E-Governance Development Concept in Ukraine

Deriving from understanding of the exceptionally high importance of e-governance for: (1) essential democratic strengthening and advance, (2) radical consolidation of the state institutional capability, (3) efficient fight against corruption and (4) stepping up integral competitiveness of the state and society, participants of Public Hearings support the Concept for Developing E-Governance in Ukraine and apply to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the following proposal:

·        Approve of the Concept for Developing E-Governance in Ukraine.

·        Entrust the State Committee on IT Technology, along with other interested government agencies, social associations and professional organizations, to:

o   Update the Draft Concept for Developing E-Governance in Ukraine, taking into account remarks as originated from Public Hearings.

o   Work out the Strategy for the above Concept implementation.

o   Develop the system of indices (indicators) for e-governance implementation.

o   Provide for media coverage of the draft Concept for Developing E-Governance, as well as of the process for the e-governance implementation in Ukraine.
